Become a Wiki User

The wiki way is to allow any user to edit any page at any time. Unfortunately, some vandals have created scripts that make malicious edits automatically. Generally, wikis are pretty resiliant because legitimate users can cleanup after vandals, but automated attacks can damage the site far faster than legitimate users can clean it up, so we've had to adopt a different strategy.

Registering is easy:

Follow the UserPreferences link and create a login ID for yourself (make sure you use a WikiName for your ID).
Ask one of the existing users to add you to the UserGroup page.

As soon as you're a user, you can edit any page on the wiki. I recommend that you create page for your WikiName (e.g., like Norm did: NormanWalsh) so other users know who you are, but it isn't strictly necessary.
