The DocBook XSL 2.0 stylesheets are a set of stylesheets for use with an XSLT 2.0 engine (such as Saxon) for transforming DocBook XML documents into other DocBookOutputFormats. The XSLT 2.0 stylesheets are incomplete and immature as compared to the existing DocBookXslStylesheets. They should be considered experimental for the time being.

The XSLT 2.0 stylesheets are not expected to replace the existing XSLT 1.0 stylesheets any time soon.
