Sooner or later, MoinMoin will contain code that properly converts wiki pages to XML, for purposes of putting wiki content into XML processing chains, and XML ex-/import of the wiki. The obvious choice for covering the basic formatting repesentaton is (a subset of) DocBook.
Wt2Db does wiki text to DocBook conversion (but in Perl). --MichaelSmith
