I have started using DocBook to write documents that require consistent formatting, a difficult task with modern word processors. I am thinking business plans, sales collateral for my non-computer related consulting practice, etc. I may also use it to create printable and OpenEbook versions of a book of poems on behalf of the copyright holders.
I am currently using Emacs as my XML editor in NxmlMode for UsingNxmlModeWithDocBook.
